Nali
Nali first started practicing yoga āsana in 2016 and soon became a regular practitioner. Learning more, she felt very drawn to all aspects of yoga, and for a long time felt a calling to pursue it further. In early 2025, she completed her 200-hour yoga TTC in Mysore, in India. Her training was in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga although she very much enjoys practicing and teaching all types of yoga āsana styles as well as prānāyāma and meditation. Grateful for our ability to connect globally online these days, Nali is still learning from her teachers in India and is able to keep practicing all types of yoga āsana styles with them as well as continue to deepen her learning of other aspects of yoga. Nali is an Āyurvedic Practitioner and owns an Āyurvedic consulting practice in Fernie; Whole Harmony Ayurveda, where she conducts one on one sessions with clients guiding them to better health & wellbeing using the time-tested principles of Āyurveda. She found her calling in this ancient science, and both Āyurveda and Yoga are a lifestyle for her. She also has a deep interest in all of the Vedic sciences. As a sister science to Ayurveda, many aspects of yoga interconnect, and Nali integrates Ayurveda into her yoga practice bringing her Ayurvedic perspective. She enjoys teaching and sharing her knowledge with others.

Lauren
Hello everyone, and thank you for being here! Take some time to connect with your breath, move your body in sync with the cosmos and feel the earths energy rise within you. I like to slow down each posture, take the time to align body, breath and expression. Thank you for sharing your practice with all of us at Mantra, looking forward to seeing you soon!

Ella
Ella’s Pilates journey began with her own personal practice, whilst in the middle of her Health and Medical Science’s studies. All of which is driven by a deep curiosity and interest of the human body. The physical practice of body-weight movement and with the way Pilates has made her feel, made sharing Pilates with more and more people the perfect fit. Ella has gone on to teach matwork Pilates at studios and various community spaces back home in Australia, refining her own unique style along the way. Pilates is so much more to her than movement; it is a way to honour how much our body does for us every single day - creating feel good shapes on the mat, to walk away from class feeling strong and functional in your own body.
Ella’s classes are creative, strong and always centred around the breath. She aims to leaves students with a sense of empowerment, centring and strength, believing both Yoga and Pilates help us connect with our most authentic selves. She is honoured to share movement with the community at Mantra Spirit Studio.

Katie
Movement and well-being have always been part of my soul, but I wasn’t truly intrigued by yoga until joining a class, on a whim, with my roommate in university. Turns out that wonderful group of (mostly 50+ aged) yogis in a little Nova Scotia town practicing in a church hall was an amazing experience. I went back week after week.
After 15 years of practice, with only the intention of self-improvement and personal growth, I finally took the plunge and completed my 200 Mocean Yoga YTT on the beach in beautiful Nicaragua. Only a few days in, my perspective changed, my intention completely shifted. The purpose of my personal practice was redirected, and I could not wait to for the chance to find my way to share this wonderful gift of yoga.
To me, yoga is a magic. It is a balance of the simple and complex, the inspiring and grounding, the physical and mental, and, with a little discipline and an open heart and mind, has the potential to take us where we need to go. I am not afraid to make you dig deep in both mind and body. You will find a wonderful balance of physical challenge, breath work, mental clarity, and energetic grounding in my classes.
